The Deep Well Tapes is the first book in a series of books about Archetypal Dreamwork. Written by founder Marc Bregman with Susan Marie Scavo and Ellen Keene, the book explores the foundations of Archetypal Dreamwork, offering a broad view of this unique way of working wtih dreams.
From the back cover:
"The journey to the Fields of Abraham and the fullest sense of being in the fields require the descent into the deep well. It is there that one finds the true life with the Divine. I know of no spirituality that exists without a direct, personal soul to soul connection with the Divine.
The Deep Well Tapes - The Secret of the Pomegranate is the second book in The Deep Well Tapes series. Written by Marc Bregman with Susan Marie Scavo, The Secret of the Pomegranate explores The Big Lie through the lens of Western mythology.
From the book cover:
This book began with the intention of exploring what keeps us all from the journey to our true nature. To explore and expose the Big Lie that whirls inside and outside keeping us from the light at the end of the tunnel, from the treasure at the rainbow's end.
Sex, Trauma and Conjunctio furthers and deepens the exploration of Archetypal Dreamwork already explored in the first two books of The Deep Well Tapes series. This book includes in-depth personal narratives of several Archetypal Dreamwork Teachers, including a full memoir by Christa Lancaster tracing her personal journey as led by her dreams.
Gravity is the telling of the story of Marc Bregman's life - how he found his way to himself and to the Divine and how this radical way of working with dreams came through him and his relationship with the Divine.
From the Prologue:
From Him
Each person carries stories about who they are and who they are not. Each person carries truths, half truths and complete lies about what is inside of them. Each person lives those truths, half truths and complete lies.
Stories. It is the only way to really learn. To hear a story, to live it. Sensually, through all senses, including the mind and imagination.
I teach through story because it is the way to learn. Because it is through story you learn with completeness – in heart, mind, body.
If I came to you and told you everything – told of the truths, the half truths, the complete lies. If I came to you and told you who you really are, you would not believe me.
Teachings by Marc
The following are teaching pieces about Archetypal Dreamwork for the book Gravity from Marc in their raw form. All of these pieces will be folded eventually into the main book - but we wanted to make them available as they are written, rather than waiting until they found their places in the book.
Some are long and some are quite short. Enjoy!
A memoir written by Bob Murray about his experience doing this work. From the first chapter:
A CHICKEN HAWK FLOATS OVER
A former English teacher at the high school level, I’d often begin a school year or semester-length class by reading this James Wright poem:
Lying in a Hammock at William Duffy's Farm in Pine Island, Minnesota
Over my head, I see the bronze butterfly,
Asleep on the black trunk,
Blowing like a leaf in green shadow.
Down the ravine behind the empty house,
The cowbells follow one another
Into the distances of the afternoon.
To my right,
In a field of sunlight between two pines,
The droppings of last year's horses
Blaze up into golden stones.
I lean back, as the evening darkens and comes on.
A chicken hawk floats over, looking for home.
I have wasted my life.
Seth Mullins began his book in January 2009 as a short story about a dwarfish like man who has a mirror - a mirror that shows the truth when looked into.
The story blossomed into an entire world, like that of Narnia, like that of Middle Earth.
In Song of the Twice Born, characters of a community talk about their experiences of looking into the magic mirror and what they learned about themselves. And it tells the story of the community they lived commited to following the way of truth.
The book will come out in early 2010.
From the first chapter:
From the journal of Patrick O’Delan:
Sirrus has advised us to record our experiences as we follow his path to spiritual discernment. So, I have decided to comply – and I shall begin with my account of the bizarre incidents surrounding my first encounter with our dwarfen mentor.

What would you say if someone told you that all the masterful dream interpreters in history, from the biblical Joseph to the heretical Freud were - well, wrong? That is the jolt delivered by Rodger Kamenetz in this powerful and beautifully written book. Kamenetz is a soul-searcher, quite literally, and we are all better off because of it.

Alligator Tears
My father’s birthday is in September
Turns 80 first day of the fall
His health is hanging on, still got lots of kick
But that number, well, you wonder bout it all
Man there’s so much I want to tell you
I can’t imagine where to start
So I’ll just sit right here and let it all come out
God help me throw the valve that stops my heart
