While the heart of this work is rooted in the willingness of each individual to do his or her own work, we have found that working in a group setting, whether in a retreat or a class, can be of great value to this process.
We are developing a curriculum at the Center that will support participants on this journey of looking further into the dream's guidance. There is also a desire to meet those who are called to continue or begin training to become an Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist.
Upcoming Classes, January-May Semester, 2010

This class is for teachers in training and teachers who want to loosen up and explore their capacity to be juicy, creative and theatrical in the context of leading strings at retreats.
There is a workshop component and a class component. In the first component we will meet in a theater space (location TBA) for 2 four hour Sunday workshops to explore warmup exercises used by actors to confront any blocks to expression and to play improvisational theater games that encourage the spontaneous outpouring of one's deeper unconscious impulse life.
Taught by Marc Bregman, Founder of Archetypal Dreamwork, Co-Founder/Co-Director of North of Eden and Master Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher
With teachers Christa Lancaster, Bill St.Cyr, Susan Marie Scavo, Karla Van Vliet and Annie Wattles

Working with another person and their dreams is a sacred act requiring of the dreamwork therapist the highest levels of integrity and respect for the dreamer and the process that the dreams create for the dreamer.
Taught by Marc Bregman, Founder of Archetypal Dreamwork, Co-Founder/Co-Director of North of Eden and Master Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher and Christa Lancaster, Co-Founder/Co-Director of North of Eden and Master Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher

The heart of Archetypal Dreamwork is working with a person’s dream, taking the material that is presented by the Archetypal Realm and exploring that information and the possibilities with the dreamer. It is a mysterious exploration of the psyche, with each step shown in each dream.
Hosted by Bill St.Cyr and Susan Marie Scavo with teacher/leaders Christa Lancaster, Annie Wattles, Karla Van Vliet, Ellie Keene, Robin Chase, Dorothy Korshak and Deb DeGraff

This lecture series will cover a broad range of topics with the central theme of how Archetypal Dreamwork informs and creates a unique context for looking at ourselves and the world as well as being in the world. The topics explored will include: What are Archetypes, Trauma, Parenting, the “Big No” and the Gyroscopy.
Taught by Susan Marie Scavo, Director of North of Eden Press, Co-Editor of Deluge and Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher and Karla VanVliet, Co-Editor of Deluge and Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher
We learn through story because story and metaphor allow us to have an experience, to feel into rather than just understand. Metaphor is the key that opens the door to story, teaching us experientially and gradually, through knowing rather than through just our intellects.
We will explore myths, fairy tales, formative childhood stories, and our own dreams, from the Archetypal perspective. The intention of the class is to have these stories, both the public and private, be a way to enter into our own creative world; to enter into the creative in order to explore our own narrative in a new way.
Taught and hosted by Bill St.Cyr, Director of Submit a Dream Program and Archetypal Therapist/Teacher and Susan Marie Scavo, Director of North of Eden Press, Co-Editor of Deluge and Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist/Teacher with other guest NOE Teachers

Ontology is the study of the nature of being, the nature of reality, the nature of existence. Traditionally, philosophers have worked with ontology in a systematic way, working with categories of being and their relationships in order to fix, in some way, the elusiveness of being.
