Archetypal Dreamwork is the process of coming into relationship with ourselves and with the Divine, which is reflected in our most intimate human relationships—with our spouses or partners.
A North of Eden couples’ retreat is an opportunity to work with issues of intimacy and love by delving into our committed relationships through the guidance of our dreams. By facing into our inner relationship with the Divine, we can deepen our relationships with our partners. We can also discover the places where our most intimate relationships help or hinder our inner work. In the process of pulling back our projections onto our partners and refocusing on our personal work, we often find that the issues we have with each other dissolve.
North of Eden founders and life partners Marc Bregman and Christa Lancaster work with each couple individually in the presence of the group. Partners’ dreams are explored together through the lens of intimacy, mutuality, and love. Couples then continue their individual work privately with the guidance of North of Eden teachers.
One of the most powerful aspects of the retreat is the opportunity to work new dreams that come as couples process the work they do each day.
Couples’ retreats begin on Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. and conclude on Sunday by 4:00 p.m. They take place at the North of Eden Retreat Center, a beautiful state-of-the-art retreat center on Norris Mountain in northern Vermont.
Cost: $450 per person ($900 per couple), which includes the retreat, a private room, and all meals and snacks.
