This painting is from a dream where the Anima holds me in her arms, and then she shows me a snake. My dog swallows the snake and in the dream I am terrified that my dog will die.
Snakes are transformative, intuitive, healing, and that this snake energy wants to enter my body. I see that when I am in shame or anger, all the knowing is forgotten. When I am in shame or anger the voices of pathology are so loud that I am blocked from the divine. The pathology wants me to doubt the healing. It wants me to forget the fear of the snake. I have no time for the snake when I am in shame or anger. But, in this painting I let the snake energy rise up to encompass me.
