Rodger Kamenetz and Archetypal Dreamwork on NPR's On Point with Tom Ashbrook

The New York Times recently published an article in their online edition about a sleep clinic in Albuquerque that works with nightmares, where people create scripts to help “change” their nightmares. As part of the discussion of this subject as well as about dreams in general, the editors asked Rodger Kamenetz, author of The History of Last Night’s Dreams: Discovering the Hidden Life of the Soul and Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist, to respond to the article.

Following on the publication of that article, NPR's On Point Tom Ashbrook hosted a show opening the conversation even further about dreams. He invited Rodger Kamenetz as one of his panel.

Rodger spoke about the work, spoke about North of Eden and quoted from Marc's recent book Dreaming Metaphysical. He stood up for the soul on the radio in a very moving and exciting way.

Rodger Kamenetz and Archetypal Dreamwork Featured in New York Times Room for Debate about Dreams

Rodger has written a beautiful response called Don’t Fear Vulnerability in the Times’ online section called Room for Debate, where he refers to North of Eden and Archetypal Dreamwork. Here’s a link to the article:

http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2010/7/30/should-we-manipulate-our-...

In the article, Rodger writes:

Announcing Past Lives: The Divine Child - New Book in Progress

Marc Bregman and Christa Lancaster are thrilled to announce the launching of their new book:

In this book, Marc and Christa are addressing the issue of past lives and the inner soul child self.

Why even consider the possibility of past lives? Because many people have dreams that suggest past lives, past events, past experiences.

This book explores the issue of past lives so that we can feel into how those experiences influence how we live our lives now, in present time. The point is not the past, but the present moment.

About how we live the past in the present, often even creating the past so that we can live it now.

The dreams can take us through not only issues of this lifetime but of our past lives as well so that we can be in the sensuality of living now, in this moment, manifesting the inner, Divine child in connection with the Divine.

Announcing Three New Publications - Opening the Dream DVD; Dreaming Metaphysical Book, and Journeys of the Knight DVD/Book

North of Eden Press is thrilled to announce the publication of three new publications:

Opening the Dream: The Theory and Practice of Archetypal Dreamwork - A Video Introduction

In this DVD, Christa Lancaster and Marc Bregman introduce the theory and practice of this work through a unique form of working with dreams in a group setting, called String Therapy.

Through the examples of two dreamers, a man and a woman, Christa and Marc show how dreams can open up through drama, allowing the dreamer to experience new feelings, revelations and direction.

The intention of each dream is to bring the dreamer closer to the true soul self, called the Child Self.

Included with the DVD is a booklet with an essay by Marc Bregman, where he speaks of the journey we can take, through dreams, to return to this Child Self.

Going Beyond Jung - Presenting Archetypal Dreamwork Workshops

There are many teachers and many spiritual paths that teach about the state of being in which we are ourselves in alignment with the Divine and can bring that self into the world in our relationships, our careers, our lives.

But what is our specific path? What is the How? How do we go from our current state of being lost to finding ourselves?

The dreams offer each and every person a personalized map of that journey, with the dreams showing us each step along the way.

North of Eden is currently scheduling one day and weekend workshops to present this unique and radical way of working with dreams.

Announcing the Publication of Song of the Twice Born: Book 1 - The Mirror of Sirrus by Seth Mullins

North of Eden Press is thrilled to announce the publication of Seth Mullin's new book

Seth Mullins began his book in January 2009 as a short story about a dwarfish like man who has a mirror - a mirror that shows the truth when looked into.

The story blossomed into an entire world, like that of Narnia, like that of Middle Earth.

In Song of the Twice Born, characters of a community talk about their experiences of looking into the magic mirror and what they learned about themselves. And it tells the story of the community they lived commited to following the way of truth.
